Our mission is to develop technologies for building a smart energy town. The scope of R&D includes DC-microgrid operation including renewables, autonomous electric vehicle, and relavent ICT technologies. The research on the DC-microgrid operation is carried out in three levels i.g. energy market participation, optimal energy management and reliable operation of converters. Through the optimal operation of microd grid will lead to optimal operation of energy town and country, which will enhance the stability of the grid with renewable energies.
It is the era of great energy transition and transformation. The renewable energy based generation increases its portion rapidly and energy consumptions are increasingly made in the form of electricity. Our vision is to be the world leading research institute in this area to enhance the flexibility of power grid and reduce energy consumption. We will provide a smart energy town platform for companies can test, evaluate and develop their products in close cooperation with our researchers.
